Viviane Andrade is a Brazilian journalist who moved to Australia in 2018 with a simple goal: to learn English. But from day one, she fell head over heels in love with the country, its culture, and the relaxed Aussie way of life.

Like many expats, her journey Down Under took a few twists and turns. She worked in various jobs along the way, but deeply missed working as a journalist. Living in Sydney and constantly moving houses herself, she decided to put her investigative instincts and passion for communication back to work. Even while still working on her English every day, her journalist’s curiosity drove her to dive deep into understanding how the Australian rental market really works.

That research quickly turned into a true mission. Finding a place to live in Sydney can be exhausting—tight inspection schedules that clash with work, language barriers, overwhelming competition, and the anxiety of trying to choose a home when you can't be there in person. Experiencing these challenges firsthand made Viviane want to help others navigate the process without all the stress.
